SD Bull Rental delivers, sets up, and trains the Event Host on safe operation. After training, operational responsibility transfers to the Event Host, who selects and supervises any operator. SD Bull Rental and its drivers, contractors, and agents do not operate the mechanical bull during the Event.
I release and agree not to sue SD Bull Rental LLC, the Event Host, the Venue, and their respective owners, employees, contractors, drivers, agents, vendors, volunteers, and insurers (collectively, the “Released Parties”) for any claim arising from my participation, including those caused by ordinary negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by California law. This release does not apply to gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Mechanical bull riding is hazardous. I understand the bull will buck and throw riders, and that falls, collisions, and equipment movement can cause injury including muscle strain, fracture, concussion, paralysis, or death. I acknowledge that these risks cannot be eliminated and I voluntarily assume all of them, known and unknown.
I confirm I am physically and mentally able to ride safely right now. I am not impaired by alcohol, drugs, fatigue, illness, or any condition affecting my balance, judgment, or reaction time. I am not pregnant. I have no heart, neck, back, spine, or recent-surgery conditions that would make riding unsafe. If my condition changes, I will not ride. The Event Host or operator may refuse my ride at their discretion.
Riders must be at least 48 inches tall and weigh no more than 250 pounds. One rider at a time — no doubling up, including parents with children. The operator may permit younger or smaller riders only on the lowest speed setting (“Kid Mode”) at their sole discretion. No shoes, sharp objects, or loose items. Hands on the rope only — not the horns or head. If signing for a minor, I am the parent or legal guardian and consent on the minor’s behalf.
I voluntarily assume all risks and agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claim, loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from my participation, including claims brought by my family, heirs, estate, or any third party. My health insurance is primary; I will bear costs not covered by it.
If any provision of this agreement is held by a court to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force and effect. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. I expressly waive California Civil Code Section 1542 protections covering unknown claims, and agree this release covers all claims, known and unknown. My electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten one (ESIGN/UETA).
